After a seven-month absence from St. Louis radio the popular “I Love Jazz” radio program hosted by Don Wolff is back on its new home station, CLASSIC99/KFUO-FM (99.1), where “I Love Jazz” airs on Friday evenings from 10 pm to 1 am. This broadcast is in conjunction with the television version of "I Love Jazz", which airs Sundays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm on HEC-TV, the KFUO program will feature performances and interviews with renowned jazz artists and emerging local musicians, as well as provide information about music-related community events.
“We are very enthusiastic about the addition of a powerful radio element to HECTV’s I Love Jazz! series and to the www.hectv.org Internet broadcasts,” says HECTV Director Dennis Riggs. “Both KFUO and HEC-TV have rich histories of dedication and commitment to service. We are looking forward to developing a successful partnership with KFUO that will result in many innovative synergistic programs and events bringing great value to our community,” added Riggs.
