One of Jazz St. Louis’ most recognizable education programs, the All-Stars are comprised of the area’s top high school talent. Following area-wide auditions, this group meets weekly at Jazz at the Bistro, focusing on improvisation, composition and performance. Throughout the year, these emerging musicians perform at various festivals and community events, serving as Jazz St. Louis’ cultural ambassadors. In addition, they are also featured performers on Jazz at the Bistro’s Spotlight Series.

Become a Member of the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars
The 2010-2011 season auditions are Monday, June 7 and Monday, June 14, 2010 at Jazz at the Bistro. To be eligible to audition, students must be in high school (grades 9-12) during the 2010-2011 school year. Acceptance into the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars is based on a live audition (students will be assigned an audition time once the required application materials have been submitted). Applicants will be notified in July 2010 with weekly rehearsals beginning the following fall.
