Jazz St. Louis All-Stars

Submitted by admin on Mon, 07/02/2007 - 13:53.

The goal of this program is to create an exemplary student ensemble as a vehicle to present, promote, and perpetuate jazz within an educational framework. Each Spring, high school students are chosen after area-wide auditions. During the following season, these emerging musicians receive coaching and training from the artists of national and international stature who perform at Jazz at the Bistro. In addition, they serve as cultural ambassadors, representing Jazz St. Louis at numerous area arts events along with receiving their own weekend performing as part of Jazz at the Bistro’s Spotlight Series. Other benefits include free access to all bistro performances as well as private instruction from visiting artists.

Become Part of the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars
