Poncho Sanchez

Sponsored by Mid-America Arts Alliance and the National Endowment for the Arts

More than anything else, percussionist Poncho Sanchez is a storyteller. He and his world-renowned group spin vivacious tales that pay homage to the glories of a half-century tradition that was born when Afro-Cuban rhythms merged with bebop. Poncho Sanchez live is an electrifying experience not to be missed!
