JazzU with special guest Terell Stafford

Terell Stafford 2Made possible by a lead contribution from Monsanto Fund with support from the Arthur & Helen Baer Foundation, Ameren Missouri, and the Staenberg Family Foundation, JazzU places talented middle and high school musicians in small jazz combos, which meet weekly between September and May. This competitive program selected 60 emerging musicians for seven groups from a pool of 115 who auditioned for the 2013-14 season.

The weekend’s shows feature the top two performing ensembles in the JazzU program, which includes the premiere group, the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars. Special guest artist Terell Stafford will be teaching clinics with the two groups prior to performing with them during a portion of the shows.
