The Mothership Chronicles: The Music of Parliament-Funkadelic Reimagined by Lamar Harris

Lamar HarrisCall him funky, call him jazzy, call him whatever you like, but Lamar Harris’s seamless blend of horns, electric sounds, and vocals forms an explosive combination. A respected trombonist, producer, arranger, and DJ, Harris has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business such as Dwele, George Benson, Pieces of A Dream, The Cab Calloway Big Band, Musiq, Common, Earth Wind & Fire, Dr. John, and many others.

Now, Lamar Harris takes on the music of P-Funk, assembling a stellar band that is both respectful of the music but not afraid to reimagine it for the Jazz at the Bistro stage.
