Dinner Reservations and Restaurant Protocol

Seating for Jazz at the Bistro performances begins at 7:45 pm. Although your ticket purchase is a reservation for a specific table, the Bistro requires jazz patrons to make dinner reservations at their table if wishing to arrive before 7:45 pm. In addition to serving guests coming to jazz performances, The Bistro at Grand Center serves dinner to patrons attending the area’s various theaters. Those patrons, who usually depart by 7:45 pm, are seated at ticketed jazz tables unless the restaurant knows in advance to reserve them for pre-7:45 pm jazz diners. We encourage 7-7:30 pm reservations for those wanting to be finished with dinner before the show starts. Also keep in mind the Bistro does serve tables during the performances should you wish to dine then. Please remember when purchasing tickets to inquire as to your specific table number so you may pass that info along to the restaurant at (314) 534-3663 when making reservations.

The Upstairs Jazz Parties

Are you looking to jazz up your birthday party, business dinner, customer appreciation, graduation, or office party? Simply pick a jazz performance (subject to availability) and buy out the 24 ticketed seats around the balcony. Then choose from one of many dinner, appetizer and/or cocktail party options. Your group of 30-80 people may then enjoy the use of both the private room overlooking Strauss Park and the balcony overlooking the stage. The Bistro at Grand Center hosts some of the most renowned jazz musicians in the world as well as some of the best local and regional artists around. Truly make your event one to remember!

For more information and a brochure on food and beverage options please phone the Bistro at Grand Center at (314) 534-3663.
