It would be a real treat and good for the Bistro to have Charlap. I haven't heard live but have his CDs.

Denise Thimes

Has Denise Thimes performed at the Bistro? Wouldn't she be a good act. I know she is local, but on some off weekend I would think she would be great.

I think next year we need a few more vocalist.

I always like it when Joshua Redman shows up at the Bistro. How about the Brian Blade Fellowship? I agree with Ryan - Chris Potter is great.

Future Performaers

Have heard Susie Aeroli and Jason Tennet. Sue sings and he does guitar and in some plays he calls to mind the electric guitar style of the 50's, Paul Ford(?), I think it was. They are a nice add sometime.

Charlap would be a great addition and someone who has not been to St. Louis in sometime if ever. SF Jazz Collective would be nice again. New lineup with Joe Lovano. Phil Woods is still kicking it. Lets get him in here. Chick Corea solo a couple of nights would be a sellout . Chris Potters band would be sweet.

More Smooth Jazz Performers

I would like to see more smooth jazz performers come to St. Louis, will that ever happen? Or does St. Louis need a smooth jazz station again?
