Jazz St. Louis is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) with a mission to lead the community in advancing the uniquely American art of jazz through live performance, education and outreach. The organization presents more than 270 performances a year through its internationally acclaimed concert series, Jazz at the Bistro, and to date has reached more than 80,000 children through performances, workshops, master classes and concerts.
Ticket revenue each season covers about 37% of the annual budget required to deliver world-class artists at our internationally-recognized venue and execute education programs that touch the lives of thousands of young people, many in underserved communities throughout the region. Jazz St. Louis relies on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to fund our programs.
