The Jazz St. Louis All-Star ensembles are comprised of the finest young jazz musicians in the St. Louis area. Students in the ensembles rehearse weekly under the direction of Jazz St. Louis’ Director of Education, Phil Dunlap, and noted trumpeter and educator Anthony Wiggins. They also have opportunities throughout the season to work with visiting Jazz at the Bistro artists and perform around St. Louis to raise awareness of St. Louis’ rich jazz history.
