Jazz St. Louis hosts a weekly Jam Session every Thursday. These sessions are an informal musical gathering where musicians can play together and improvise without preparation. This summer our Jam Sessions are held every Thursday evening at The Key STL from 9:00pm to 11:00pm.

No, you do not need to play to attend our jam. Jam Sessions are a welcoming space for both musicians and listeners.

Yes, Jazz St. Louis Jam Sessions are open to all. Anyone can play, regardless of age, so long as they are proficient.

The 2026-2027 Jazz St. Louis Season begins November 4th.

Online:

You can purchase tickets online at jazzstl.org.

In-person:

Tickets may be purchased at Jazz St. Louis on show nights. Our Box Office will open 3 hours prior to each performance. Additionally tickets for Jazz St. Louis performances can be purchased at the Fox Theatre Box Office during their regularly scheduled hours.

By Phone:

Tickets for Jazz St. Louis performances may be purchased through Metrotix by phone at 314.534.1111 or toll free, 800.293.5949. MetroTix Charge-by-Phone is available 10am to 8pm, seven days a week, except major holidays.

When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email confirmation from MetroTix at [email protected]. There are four delivery options for ticket purchases:

Mail:

Tickets are usually printed and mailed the next mailing day. All tickets are mailed via U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail. Most people receive their tickets within about 3-5 days of purchase, though occasionally it can take up to 10-14 business days to reach you. We regret that we are unable to mail tickets by any other means at this time. Tickets cannot be mailed internationally. Mail delivery, when offered, ends at least 10 days prior to the event.

Will Call:

Your tickets will be held for pickup at the venue on the day of the show. Tickets are generally available beginning 1 hour before showtime and must be picked up by the person whose name appears on the credit card used in the purchase. The credit card used for the transaction and a photo ID will be required to pick up the tickets. 

Print Your Own:

This convenient delivery option is available for many events. Your ticket link arrives in an email from [email protected]. You’ll need internet access and the free Adobe Acrobat reader or similar product to view and print the tickets (on standard, white, letter-sized paper; one ticket per sheet).

Mobile Delivery:

Our most convenient delivery option is available for a majority of events. Your tickets are emailed to you from [email protected] or can be downloaded from My Account and can be scanned for entry to the event right from your phone!

Your mobile device must have a Passbook app installed in order to view your tickets (i.e. Apple Wallet on an iPhone or GPay/Wallet on an Android device). Each ticket is a separate PKPASS file. Open each individual file on your mobile device to add it to your Passbook application. Please open your Passbook application and select your mobile tickets prior to entry so they can be scanned. If you add multiple Passbook tickets to your Passbook app, you may swipe side to side to access all of the tickets.

The Jazz St. Louis Box Office will open 3 hours prior to each performance. 

You can also purchase tickets in person at the at the Fabulous Fox Theatre Box Office MetroTix Outlet (hours vary, visit www.fabulousfox.com for current hours).

Jazz St. Louis is located at The Steward Center for Jazz, in the Grand Center Arts District. The address is: 3536 Washington Avenue

Valet:

Valet parking is available for all Jazz St. Louis performances and can be purchased on the night of show. Discounted parking may be purchased when ordering your tickets. 

Standard:

The Grand Center Arts District has several pay lots available for most shows, and there is on-street parking with meters running until 7:00 pm.

Yes, food and drinks are available for purchase at all Jazz St. Louis performances. Guests attending the 7:30 pm performances can arrive as early as 6:00 pm for dinner service and an hour prior to matinee shows. Food and drinks are also served for 9:30 pm performances, the kitchen closes at 10:00 pm.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for 7:30 pm performances, and at 9:00 p.m. for 9:30 pm sets. Second set guests are welcome to arrive at Nancy’s Jazz Lounge before 9:00 pm. Doors open one hour prior to matinee shows.

While seats are numbered at each table and booth, seating is on a first come basis for our main floor tables and booths. If you’re the first to arrive, you may choose any seat at your assigned table. Jazz St. Louis uses family-style seating. Unless you have purchased all the tickets at a table, you will likely be seated with other patrons. Seating is held for the first 15 minutes, late arrivals will be seated at available space.

No, your ticket covers the performance. Dinner and drinks are a separate charge.

No, Jazz St. Louis performances have no minimum.

Jazz St. Louis is an all-ages venue. Please be aware that the occasional artist or piece may deal with adult subjects.

Performances last approximately 70 minutes.

Video and audio recordings are not allowed during concerts. Non-flash photographs are allowed during most performances. However, please be mindful of your fellow patrons and the performers as light, including phone screens, and noise from your camera/phone can be a distraction.

Jazz St. Louis tickets are nonrefundable unless a show is cancelled. Pending availability, you can exchange tickets for a different performance for a small fee.

Located adjacent to the main stage area, Nancy’s Jazz Lounge is a casual no-reservations-needed bar and lounge. Nancy’s serves the same food and drinks as the Bistro while allowing patrons to enjoy live streaming Jazz St. Louis shows on a 90” TV – with no cover charge! Nancy’s Jazz Lounge is open on all Jazz St. Louis show nights and a great place to visit anytime you are in Grand Center.
