THE ANNUAL GALA
We are talking the night off in 2018, however, we still need your help! Each year our gala raises funds solely to support education and outreach activities for youth in our community and your support will help further our education programs and actively preserve the future of jazz in our community. Jazz St. Louis has entertained, trained and educated more than 150,000 students since the year 2000. Through our education programs, students gain access to training from some of the world’s most influential jazz artists. Each education program is uniquely developed to enhance creativity, empower self-confidence and advance leadership skills in young people. We proudly connect youth throughout the metropolitan area and help form life-long bonds that in turn bridge cultural gaps and strengthen the future of jazz in greater St. Louis.
If you’re interested in making a donation to support our education and outreach activities for youth in our community, contact Anne Marie Carroll, Assistant Director of Development, at 314-584-6570 or by clicking here.
JAZZ EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP CONCERT
This event, held each spring, is a special concert event featuring multiple artists, premier food and drinks, and a silent auction supported by many area businesses. All proceeds raised during this event go directly to the Rich McDonnell Memorial Scholarship, awarded each year to a young student musician who shows leadership skills and mastery of their instrument. Past scholarship recipients have gone onto prestigious institutions such as Juilliard and Manhattan School for Music.
Jazz St. Louis is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to lead our community
in advancing the uniquely American art of jazz through live performance, education and outreach
