Join us for a remarkable evening of jazz music featuring two talented groups from our JazzU program. The JazzU All-Stars, led by Bennett Wood, and the Andrew Binder JazzU Group will grace the stage alongside accomplished saxophonist Melissa Aldana.
Harold López-Nussa & Timba a la Americana featuring Grégoire Maret
June 11-15
Cuban pianist Harold López-Nussa expresses a full range and richness of the Cuban music tradition with its unique combination of folkloric, popular, and classical elements. Timba a la Americana, a lavishly colorful project, captures the essence of Afro-Cuban rhythms in a contemporary context. These performances will also include harmonica virtuoso Grégoire Maret!

Glass Theory
June 19
Scotty Russell (saxophone), Daniel Kent (trombone), Mia Ware (piano), Jon Novelli (bass), and Tonnie Kamkwalala Jr. (drums) come together as Glass Theory, a quintet made up of both current and alumni students from JazzU. Each member brings their own unique perspective and voice to the ensemble, blending respect for jazz’s rich traditions with a fearless drive to shape the future of the music.
